This is just the standard DoD Patriot Act spying bs ploy wrapped up in a more complex plan, right?

Like if they’re “studying vulnerabilities” of that network, they have access to (and most likely, control over) that network.

But also if America wasn’t so far behind most other countries (competitive countries, don’t bring up no Latvia or some bs like that) in tech—be it regulatory or otherwise—they wouldn’t have to be studying why American internet is so vulnerable to outside attacks lmao.
